Designing Residential Heat Pumps
to Accelerate the Energy Transition
Date: November 12, 2024
Time: 3:00 PM CET
Location: ZOOM
Duration: 45 Minutes
On-demand webinar recording

This session will explore the critical role of heat pumps in achieving the ambitious targets set out in the REPowerEU plan and accelerating Europe’s journey to net zero. Learn how heat pumps—which are three times more efficient than traditional boilers—can maximize energy use while reducing emissions and costs. Discover how fluorinated gas-based refrigerants like hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) offer practical, flexible solutions for most property types and the impact of energy efficiency on the Whole Energy System.

Highlights will include:

  • The importance of selecting the right heat pump technology for different building types.
  • Maximizing your heat pump to improve energy efficiency, reduce fossil fuel use and increase cost savings for households.
  • The impact of energy efficiency on the Whole Energy System.
