Global Emerging Regulations Leader
Honeywell Advanced Materials

Erica brings 15 years of industry expertise in product stewardship, global chemical regulatory affairs, emerging regulations, and product advocacy. Her role within the Honeywell Government Relations team as Global Emerging Regulations Leader is pivotal to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting sustainable product lifecycles, and implementing responsible chemical management practices on a global scale across applications and value chains.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Erica was the Global Food Contact Compliance Leader and Global Product Steward for Chemours, ensuring regulatory compliance for fluoropolymers in downstream food and medical packaging applications. She has also been an active part of many industry trade associations and previously held roles leading product stewardship in the oil and gas, biomaterials, and specialty chemistry sectors.

Erica received her B.Sc. in Animal Science from UC Davis in California and served on many care- and use-committees advocating for minimal and safe animal testing in science and biomedical research.

Joshua Shodeinde
Sr. Manager, Strategic Regulatory Planning
Honeywell Advanced Materials
Joshua leads multi-functional legislative and regulatory strategy planning and execution for Honeywell’s Fluorine Products business. He has over eight years of experience reviewing, developing, and implementing climate and air quality regulations at the state and federal level and assessing their impacts to businesses. Prior to joining Honeywell, Joshua served as a senior rule writer for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he led the development of the Technology Transitions program under the AIM Act. During his tenure at EPA, Joshua also worked on TSCA implementation through risk management rulemaking for toxic chemicals. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mary B. Walsh Director Government Relations EMEA Lead for Environmental Policy in Europe. Mary B. Walsh is Government Affairs Director for Honeywell and Lead Environmental Policy Europe, covering EMEA for the Performance Materials and Technology arm of the company. She leads the representation of this business to all regional regulators and wider stakeholders.

Honeywell Advanced Materials
Sydney Wyatt is the Sr. Director of Heating Solutions in Advanced Materials at Honeywell which includes Honeywell’s next-gen ultra-low GWP refrigerants into heat pumps to accelerate the electrification and decarbonization of heat, with Europe as the first market of focus. These efforts help enable the region to safely and sustainably achieve their decarbonization goals, as outlined by RePowerEU and Fit for 55, while at the same time, decreasing reliance on gas.
